Design Process Timeline
Yay!!! You've reached out, filled out your Getting to Know You Form, signed your contract & magically beautiful designs & so many giggles are about to happen! So what now? Expect the timeline from when you sign your contract to when your Lovely Paper Things arrive, aka the best snail mail day ever, to be about three months, depending on the complexity of the design, the materials & the printing process you select! Ugh, three months, we know that feels like f o r e v e r, but trust us it will go fast & it will be so worth it! Did that timeline just give you a tiny baby panic attack because your date quickly approaching? Don't fret darling, just reach out as soon as you can, as we do offer expedited timelines, & we can get the creative process started right away! Save The Dates
Save the dates are so exciting, because they are the very first adorable glimpse your guests have of how fabulous your big day is going to be - & darling, it will be so fabulous! Traditionally save the dates are mailed out six months to a year before your big day, with destination weddings leaning more towards a year, plus, to allow your guests to book their flights & make their reservations.
Invitations
After your epic save the dates your guests are giddy with excitement; they can't wait to see what else you have in store for them! You'll want to give your loved ones plenty of advance notice to come celebrate with you! Yippie! Plan to send your super awesome wedding invitations out six - eight weeks before your big day. If you did not send save the dates aim for closer to ten - twelve weeks!
Response Cards
YAY! You are about to marry your honey pie! Make this final leg easier on yourself, by crossing one more thing off your list early! Have your response cards returned by a three - four weeks before you say "i do!" And darling, please do keep in mind that the other amazing people you are collaborating with, such as caterers, bakers & your venue, may need more advance notice of your final numbers...so be sure to check on this early!
